Dearest,

If you feel you’ve had a really intense summer, exhausting even, with a lot happening, that’s exactly how I’ve been feeling and what the wonderful women in our feminine community have recently shared with me.

For most of us, this season of bliss comes with the opportunity to enjoy the brightness of the sun, easily waking up early in the morning, doing a lot (especially outdoors), nature’s gorgeous green, the lovely summer evenings spent socialising and listening to music in cafes, the flowy dresses and comfortable shorts leaving us feeling like we’re closer to our own bodies, as well as our travelling adventures…

But because nothing in our physical experience lasts forever and because this beautiful body of ours cannot continuously sustain the same state –

– as soon as we get halfway through the month of September here in the Northern hemisphere, the rhythm of our lives and the quality of our energy begins to change, even if we aren’t aware of it –

– we are pushed inward towards ourselves and our bodies are asking us to recalibrate.

Friday, September 23rd 2022 is just around the corner with the Fall Equinox being the first day of the astronomical autumnal season.

This phenomenon in which the Sun sits directly above the Equator and for a short time the length of the day is equal to that of the night, has always been a highly significant energetic and spiritual event for the ancients.

Maybe you’ve already had the experience of “feeling something inside” at any of the key points of transition throughout the year (during the Solstices and Equinoxes).

Or maybe you’re simply drawn to this idea of aligning with the energy of Mother Earth in a way you can’t quite put into words. This pull that so many of us are now feeling towards the rhythmical nature of life is the very feminine essence of our bodies.

We, women, hold this energetic blueprint of our Planet’s rhythms in our physiology and biochemistry. Our cyclical menstrual phases, the dance of our feminine hormones and our physical, emotional and spiritual receptivity –

– are meant to serve as a harmonious system by which to plan our life and gracefully navigate it.

Perhaps you’ve noticed that during summer you sleep less and that in winter you don’t have the same amount of energy of productivity. Or maybe you’ve noticed that in spring, you’re in the right mental space to start new things and even your body asking you to eat juicy fruits and vegetables, while skipping the healthy dried fruit and nuts.

From the wisdom and science of Indian Ayurveda to the Chinese Taoist system – the message is one and the same:

As women, we cannot create anything positive and sustainable in any area of our life unless we are willing to FLOW WITH the feminine rhythms of life itself, from those of our bodies, to that of the Planet and the Cosmos. Instead of FIGHTING them.

When you learn to gracefully and elegantly navigate the rhythms of your body, that of nature and life, you will exude an aura of “inner centeredness”, a kind of being at ease within yourself and a level of receptivity offered by your activated feminine wisdom, pulsating through you.

And this energy is truly magnetic!

So I invite you to spend a few moments reflecting on how you can integrate the following steps, so you can find more alignment with Mother Nature’s transition at this time of year:

  • #1 Mark the day of the Equinoxes and Solstices in your calendar so you can carve out time for a ritual (perhaps you take a bath with candles and you do some journaling or join an online even / one in person).
  • #2 During the days prior to or right after the Equinox, spend quiet time in nature trying to feel the presence of Mother Earth. Focus your attention on the changes taking place with the arrival of the new season. Try to imagine the Planet as a living being (because it is!) and ask for guidance “What changes am I called to make for my physical and mental well-being during the next 3 months?” For most women, the first message that arises is honouring their need for more sleep.
  • #3 Autumn correlates to the luteal phase of the menstrual cycle when our levels of practical productivity, our ability to sort, analyze and finalize are the highest. So at the Equinox, schedule 1 hour to reflect on your year’s goals and intentions. Clarify, analyze and prioritize so that you know exactly what it is you need to focus on during the last 3 months of the year.
  • #4 Another characteristic of the season is Abundance. Set the intention to read about or take courses that help you discover your Abundance within so you can manifest more money or opportunities. Allow this year’s harvest and the multitude of colors you can find in nature to inspire you. The same energy that creates all these wonders is the same energy that flows through you.

If there are times of year you sort of dislike, these moments of ritual will bring a feeling of “sacredness” and you will be able to start developing a loving relationship with Mother Earth.

The powerful relationship that’s meant to help you gradually heal the wound of the mother and of the lack of the Archetypal Feminine in your life.

With much love and support,
Adelina
